good friend of mine is looking for a 235 Aluminum 4 bolt, not 2 valve cover, to go on a 261 straight six in a 57 chev truck. figured you bunch of vintage gear heads would know where one might be found

Sacotu, sorry i have no leads for you,, but It's nice to see someone using these "Forgotten" 261's again. (Always liked the inline sixes.)

Possibly someone on the "Inliners International" site may have one?

You can only get the aluminum ones in. 2 bolt but offenhauser has the studs
And nuts to mount them

You can get the chrome covers in 4 bolt

I have a new valve cover and side cover $100 if your friend is interested
