I have a position available in the Chassis fab shop I work at in Milton, ON.
I am looking for an experienced TIG welder with fitter experience! The person I need will be able to take direction as well as being a self starter. Problem solving does come up in this position, but nothing too serious!
We are a chassis fab shop building anything from t-buckets to 40 Ford's, Fiat topolino's, C-cabs, and custom frames, too. As well as all the different chassis' we build there are about 50 or so different parts that are made in-house ie; bat-wings, hair pins, four links, pan-hard bars, axle brackets, frame brackets, and so on.
Position entails:cutting material, prepping for welding, drilling, tapping, WELDING, chassis building, parts fitting (brackets and such into chassis'), as well as general shop duties!
If this job interests you, please feel free to contact me at (905)876-0632!!!
Just wondering if all the people above that replied to Dodgy's job offer also send resumays into other places that offer jobs, saying why they don't want the position. Not trying to be smart here I just think its funny that the only responces he has received so far are from people who don't want the job. Ed

I'm sure I'd enjoy the job and I also considered applying for a job at Lowdown a few years ago. The realities are that neither place will pay my current wage, give me an all expenses paid company vehicle and 4 weeks vacation.
If I was semi retired or a younger, single guy I'd go for it but not in my prime, money making years
