so im putting the rat truck on the road hopefully on monday, i was wondering though about the bumper thing.  i plan on running no front fenders and no bumpers as well.  are bumpers required or optional since its a truck?  i suppose i could spend a few hours and try to decipher the ministry website but since there are no shortage of geniuses here i thought i would ask anyways.

Tell them your center link is also a bumper. I'm sure they'll be OK with that.

A lot of cars on the road like yours w/o bumpers. You got that nice engine block as a battering ram so no worries.

It all depends on who is signing your safety form.

Are you worried about yourself, the motoring public in general or those guys in those cars with the flashing lights. Ed

If you are really that concerned about it, you should have thought about it before you started building it. Lots of bumperless and fenderless cars out there.

Drive it, if they pull you over then figure it out.

i agree, im not really going to worry unless they be hatin and pull me over.  im pretty adept at talking my way either out of or into a ticket.  i just taking bets on how long it takes them to pull me over.  i give it 2 days.
