I was thinking about the possible swap of my S10 body with a 47-55 chev truck body. I know that is has been done and my truck is a good donor but i'm wondering how much a solid body will go for if I can find one. I would prefer the old worn paint as I'd probably jus clear coat it. Let me know what you guys think and what you think.

Likely going to run in the $4 grand to 5 grand for a good decent but not perfect truck!! I would buy a complete truck as there are many pcs. you are going to need, & will add up FAST if you have to go looking later. Better to buy the best one you can find, or spend a "fortune" in body repair & end up with the same amount of $$$ in it ,than buying the "better one" first!! Saying this from past experience's over many yrs.

There is a truck in Woodstock that I have been looking at for over three years. I keep thinking that it would be a great starter piece... I have not taken a close look tho...
Don't know the year, but definitely pre 55
