Its a really fun event .I hope the rain holds off .I have been looking forward to this all summer .Its a shame the airport is so booked up as I think they would like to make it a monthley event .With a weekender in there someware anyway still hopeing for a clear Saturday keep your fingers crossed .By the way its not looking good for the cam switch for my car so I might have to be very carefull picking guys I think I have a chance with,concidering I 'm running a stock 2bbl 77 Impalla engine,I think most minivans could take me at this point.Fatstax says 'don't worry about it ' so maybe there is still hope . Hey Grumpy hold that thought .I just read on the ktown site that they may delay the races till next Saturday,the 29th, if the weather is bad .They will post a report at noon tomorrow on there site,so I may have another week to get ready for you.Fatstax got the Buick running today and we just ran out of time to get mine ready.I will go with he 2bbl if its a go for this weekend,I will just have to give you and Fatstax a smaller head start before I catch you guys this time. 90 percent chance of rain sat in picton, lets hope the gods have a change of heart. on a positive note i fired up the 327 in the buick tonite and all seems well. funny i had a piece of mail come today, perhaps an omen of things to come. i have free caa coverage until oct 31 weather i buy a membership or not, so who cares if i blow it up again?
I hope that they delay it so I can finish up my truck and go race it. I'd really like to go. But i'm waiting on a torque converter. Come on rain delay!
There was a couple of quick s10s there last time Scott and there will probably be another one comming with us this time so you should have some fun with them. Ed
