what local events are still going till say Thanksgiving?

local for me  is maybe 50miles around peterborough area

Don't know if this is too far but the Waterford Pumpkin fest car show usually draws a lot of cars if it is a nice day. That's usually mid to late Oct. There is probably a site with the info if you goggle it.
