After a couple of phone calls, Lucky7 is a few bucks cheaper on a 4" dropped tube axle and about the same price on the dropped steering arms.
Shipping from Milton to Victoria, BC will be around $46.00

Complete kits hub to hub are cheaper from speedway.....the axels alone are about the same price....one of the advantages from Lucky is that if you order an I beam axel they can lazer cut any design in it for you.. cool option

I have a '37 Ford with the stock axle but updated disc brakes, etc. So all I need is the axle and dropped steering arms. I could bend the old arms but I think I'll go with new.
I have dealt with Speedway before and have had good luck and good service from them.

lucky 7 in milton is a pretty good place to go i find. I have delt there a few times and never had a prob. talk to them and they work with ya. if they dont have what you need they can get it quick.

Good to know. I ordered a tube axle and steering arms.
The axle is Made in Taiwan. But has forged ends.

I bought my chromed dropped and drilled axle hub to hub from Lucky 7 (through Lost Time Choppers in St. Thomas) and I'm real happy with everything - I had one spindle where chrome had gotten on the bearing surface and they fixed the problem right away. Both companies are great to deal with. Talk to Trigger at Lost Time. Speedway is OK but just about everything they sell comes from China and I doubt if the quality is as good. Besides, we should support Canadian companies if we can. I won't allow someone to rip me off but if the price and quality is competative why not. Keep in mind that broker fees on anything shipped from the USA will kill ya too. I remember ordering two of those battery kill switches with the little green knob years ago. They were $6.00 each and by the time UPS got'm to my house the bill was over $60.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never, Never, Never ship from USA to Canada....always ship to boarder then pick it up....WAAAAAY cheaper.

Brokerage fee's are a killer

UPS is the worst for adding fees on. I ordered things from Speedway and asked them to ship DHL or FedEx. They did. No extra fees were added. If the parts are small enough, have them sent by mail.

Well, so much for Lucky7. The dropped tube axle I ordered for the '37 Ford arrived. From king pin to kingpin it is 2" narrow. But...the spring perches are 33" instead of 38 1/2"
I called them and asked if they had the right axle. They said No.
Instead of shipping this piece of sh*t back, I'll try to sell it locally to someone working on a Model A.
It's back to The Old Car Centre in Vancouver for me. Pay a bit more, but get a lot more in quality and service.

When I ordered it, I told them it was for a '37 Ford. Their catalog does not show measurements.
It is for a Model A or something smaller.
I called today and was given the "NO" answer. Not when I ordered it.

You got an axle for a spring over application and you need one for a setup with the spring ahead of the axle. You need to be very specific when ordering anything like this because both are available from other manufacturers. There are also different overall widths for both applications. I must say I'm really happy with the quality and service I got from Lucky 7.

Actually my brokerage fee, invoice fee and tariff/duty is a flat rate of $35.00 through my company for anything under $1,400 Canadian and $50.00 for any amount over $1,400.00 Canadian..... Shipping from the warhouse in the US sitting on your door step... Just a thought... Thx....

If you told them it was for a 37 Ford and they did not advise you otherwise, I'd demand a full refund, shipping and all. Dont be afraid to use the BBB if you dont get results. I've resorted to that with satisfactory outcomes

Hell Yeah,

I ordered my Gennie shifter through them. took a bit, but in their defence Gennie had gone through changes...The daughter was awsome at lucky 7 and sent my order without getting payed first..of course I setteled up right quick...
