Wanted. - str8 front axel from.  Mid 60s to late 60s. Chevy-dodge-ford  van...also 8 inch rear end.  ..( comet-mustang-cougar-maverick-) don't really matter whT gears Are as long as it's complete and affordable...i live in hamilton...maybe you have something else that mite do the job???  Thanx.  Hemikev

You shoulda went to swap at roxton last weekend . I seen maybe 4 ford rear diffs, an 5 or 6 axles .
or try the Ancastor one coming up soon ..77.

I have an 8.8 explorer disc brake rear axle - which means it is narrow, and new enough that parts are easy to come by if you need them

The 8.8" explorer rear is 58.5" wide at the WMS iirc. I have used several of them and they are good rears, but I think hemikev is looking for a front axle.

We know that a dodge truck axle has too much drop now. I never realized it has like 5" of drop built in.

Sorry guys , i should have cancelled this ad , i do have a front axle from an econoline ( from a member here Thanx ) i also have an 8 inch from a 66 mustang , 320 gears ... i have benn busy collecting this and that , still need coil overs for rear . but swap season starts soon , so shouldnt be an issue .. i will post a want list b 4 the weekend ...thanx
