Well I finally found some time to play in the garage!!!

So I felt I needed to start making the truck look like some progress is happening.

I started making some new door post's for the doors to hang on as the original were wood (mostly)

I made one patterned from the wood I removed ,and used the one I made for a pattern for the passenger side.I then fitted the door to the body and marked the 16 holes and drilled and tapped them.I figuired I should do them seperatly as the passenger side could be a little different.I managed to get the drivers side door hung and welded in.

Also last Sunday I went out to pugsy's home.We spent the whole day in the garage making panels for the whell well's in the 33 coupe front fender's.Pug's made a great patch for one of my rocker's well

I learned so much about about metal shaping from Pugsy .He is a great source of knowledge and it is really apparrent in his 41 new yorker build .What a great piece of workmanship.Pugs and his family were great host for the day and I really enjoyed myself there.Thank's again Pugsy and I cant wait for the spring metal shaping meet.If you need a hand with anything give me a call. Hope you can make it down to my place soon and have a look around soon Joe Mac

Looking good Joe.

Good idea about working on one at a time.

I'll have to come by for a shop tour soon now that the weather's getting better.

I have been collecting parts for my projects this summer, although not doing much work to them. I got a pair of reproduction rear fenders ,

a new seat that I found on kijiji . and also a 2 carb set up for my 250 chev.

Also got the rear end from a Toyota 4 runner .

The box and fenders will be going in for epoxy prime this week as well as anything else that is ready.

The poor old 33 3 window is starting to feel neglected IMG_5390.JPGIMG_5391.JPGIMG_5393.JPGIMG_5394.JPGIMG_5396.JPGIMG_5397.JPGIMG_5398.JPGIMG_5392.JPG

Joe, that appears to be a water heated intake, (offenhuaser), good choice to run on the street.
