I met him at Performance World in Toronto a bunch of years ago and asked him to sign my vintage Car Craft magazine with the T on the cover.I asked him to sign it to Ugley (my nickname) he did laughing and joking. The rest of the day when I was in eyesight of Norm he would yell out HEY UGLEY!!!!! I would yell back HEY EL POLOKO it was a fun day. RIP EL POLOKO

Saw him on Monster Garage back in '03/'04 when they chopped and sectioned a '54 Chevy for a 'centurion' build. He'll be missed by many. RIP Mr. G.

I met Norm at Detroit 50th. Very pleasant friendly guy. Certainly an influence in my decision for a T-bucket, 26 years ago. it's still my main ride. Lotsa pleasant memories of Norm on tv. Bit parts here and there. The Monster Garage Legends episode was certainly the best of that show. Our heroes are falling.

Got to spend some time with Norm when he parked next to us with his Tub in Columbus a few years back, He ended up signing some stuff for my mrs and took a bit of time to show us some of his custom hand carved shifters and handguns...................truly a craftsman. Sad to see another icon faded away.
