Teeth to grab what was left of the pad lol. The caliper seal blew out and lost all pressure, and while it sat the front to rear line rotted.

I just got around to doing the brakes on a cherokee I bought. The guy I bought it from said " I was driving it ocassionally and the brakes just stopped working, so I parked it". Clearly he did not maitain this vehicle. Here is a picture of the rotor and I don't know maybe the reason "the brakes just stopped working"???no

Had a similar thing happen to me years ago. A guy I knew brought his dodge truck into the shop. Just got it, had it "safetied" by a buddy 3 weeks ago. Brakes didn't feel right. Brought it in. Pulled the wheels, the factory clips were still on the drums. The drum on the right came off in 3 pieces.

Are you sure that's a rotor and not a ring gear?
