old E-T type wheels

I only have 2  ,,they are 15 inch    i think 15+7  (  i think )   they are well aged ..tires are weathered ..  wheels nice shape but need some restoring or leave as is  ,,,i think same wheels as bullet mustang.....im building a t bucket  ,  may trade for parts for my project,,i still need my old 60s van str8 axel..im goin to Ancaster ,,can meet up there if you want them ...I have 170 into them ...Kev

Whats the bolt pattern?..They look like unilug.

Thos are ET III's and use special washers with offset holes for various bolt patterns.  I have had a few sets.

Would a 1957 Dodge 1/2 pickup straight axle work for you?   4.5x5" bolt pattern, and looks like its around 60" wide.  With the springs and steering linkage also.  I am throwing the 57' Dodge on a S10 chassis.

Pretty rims (I like the raw, magnesium look) but I am not understanding why the lip appears to be painted black ... massive curb rash maybe?

Rick,you really should consider using a Dakota chassis for the Dodge truck, neighbor did one a couple years back and the cab even bolted in to the factory mounts...

Pretty sure these are early magnesium wheels with the steel rim. Had a set similar on a Monte Carlo years ago..

I have a pair almost the same....not unilug though, Chevy bolt pattern. One is bent and the bolt holes are enlarged (came loose)......would be OK as spares. If someone buys your pair, they can come get these as spares...I was just going to toss them anyways

That would be pretty cool,I left a brand new billet Boyd Coddington wheel at my old house when I sold it to my little brother. It had been my hose reel, the old school friends loved my lack of respect for billet,ha,ha..

I thoughtabout it, but haven't found a decently priced short box dakota (111" wheelbase), and I would have to shorten the wheelbase.   The shortbed S10's are all over the place and dirt cheap, and come with the same 108" wheelbase as the stock chassis.  The track is a few inches narrower in the front, but using a 4x4 rear gives you the same 60" track as stock.   This truck is going to be pretty low, so the narrower track in front actually helps keep the wheels out of the fenders at the ride height I want.

This truck pictured is maybe not as low as you expect to go but its sitting on stock ride height springs. He's running V-6 front springs and a 340 mill..
Just turned out to be a nice simple swap and had a heavy enough chassis that it doesn't sway all over the place like overloaded S-10's tend to do..

I have done the S10 swap a few times, and its is quick and easy. If I come across a cheap and local shortbed dakota, I will keep it in mind, but it looks like its probably going to end up with an S10 since there is one for $250 just a few miles from my shop.

I just got the rims off of Kev - does the offer still stand for these ones?  I think I may have one or two at a friends place still.  I live in toronto, but have a shop in Alliston, just off highway 89.

If you want them Rick....I have tires on them at the moment, let me know and I will dismount them. I live up on Highway 4 between Durham and Hanover.....40 km west of Flesherton

 

They are 15x6, I think
