Yup, that's the mentality all right. I just happened to get in the middle of a couple of stupid idiots a few years ago. I was tent camping at the races in Oswego, New York, when a couple of these red necks decided they were going to hook up a couple of jeeps right among where everyone was camping. Well there was mud and sod flying everywhere, all over the cars, trucks, tents, campers. I thought there was going to be a brawl over it. Troupers finally showed up and kicked them out. I haven't been back to Oswego since.
Reading the Toronto Star Wheels section & they have listed the Kia Spectra as one of the best, along with the Ford Focus[ very few minor problems] They listed the Cadillac CTS & the Dodge Journey as the WORST with major problems & complaints!! That " kinda " blows the offshore "crap" theory!!! Can see Kia & parent co. Hyundia start building them here just like Honda & Toyota, Nissan in the US & others!!!!

Nope, title says Dodge is better Tor. Star says it's worst [Journey that is]
And the Toronto Star is an expert on cars. I think these things come down to who spends the most money on advertising. Two years ago we rented a KIA when we were in California. Brand new car. Worst piece of crap I've ever driven or ridden in. Just one example: the arm rest broke off as soon as someone leaned their arm on it. JUNK!
