The part that always bothers me the most what were they thinking when they pull off some of these turns and other manovers that result in these crashes as well as the indeferance that some show after whitnessing some of these crashes how people just drive around or keep on walking as if nothing happened .I guess the dash cams are there to help stop scams and ins frauds but it is really an eye opener as to how fast things can happen out there. Seeing crashes like those makes a person grab the wheel a little tighter. Defensive driving will only get you so far. Hard to compansate for Dumb A** drivers........

Only seconds to change your life

I have a  power point, of a crash of a drunk driver, with a large truck  (amazing how a drunk driver can hit head on)

The pictures show him being removed in two pieces and throw on a tarp

I can e-mail if you want to show a tough headed teen driver

I volunteer with Family and Children's Services as a driver. I pilot kids - the most precious cargo in the world - and parents here and there. Combine that with my prior job as a Sales Manager for a fuel company and you could say I've racked up a lot of miles.
I've seen some of the dumbest sh*t imaginable.

Last Wednesday was the first real snowstorm we've had in a couple years. I think people in this part of the country actually forgot how to drive in the white stuff.

I had to pick up a 2 yr old girl in Port Colborne (that's on Lake Erie to those of you from elsewhere) deliver her to St Catharines then return her to the Foster home 3 hr's later by which time it became white-out conditions.

On my way home after the return I travelled back on Victoria ave ( straight run from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario) At one intersection, as the line of cars slowed to stop, some Genius in a 4 X 4 thought that would be a great place to pass.
As I watch my mirror regularly I had a perfect view of him gliding past 3 or 4 cars, then, as he closed up on the car behind me the driver of the 4 X 4 suddenly woke up, saw the flashing stop light - and hit the brakes.

Bye bye, 4 X 4, the ditch on the opposite side swallowed him. Hope he got it out before the wing trucks came along or it'd end up a convertible.
Like my Grandma always said " it's not a crime to be born stupid but it's criminal to stay that way"

Somewhere around 1:56 ... the two cars PARKED in the middle of what appears to be a 4-lane highway with the trunk open ... REALLY? How F-en stupid is that?

You get a flat ... you GET OFF the road. You run out of gas ... you coast to the side and GET OFF the road. If (for whatever reason) you can't get your car off the road you LEAVE IT and GET YOURSELF OFF THE ROAD.

Unreal ...

Dash cams aren't going to save you from the stupidity that is out there ... but they just might save you from being blamed (and charged/sued) for something you did not cause ... I have one.

Gotta say WTF were some of these people doing on the road in the first place...Wow..

Some of these automobiles hit would have benefited by a roll cage which would make them safer!!..PERIOD

What I find amazing is where people find the time to gig up posts that are 3 1/2 years old?

Some people just aren't interested in the past .... I found what looked like a very old booger on the underside of a seat in a TTC streetcar a week or so ago (if you looked at it sideways, you'd swear it resembled Donald Trump) ..... not one single fellow passenger was the least bit interested. In this day of posting EVERYTHING, only ONE person bothered to feign interest and take a picture. They said it was needed as evidence or something like that, wouldn't give me a copy but did say my lawyer should expect one. It's truly sad ....
