Now, they will be lobbying for "pedal car" lanes in Toronto as well as Cycle lanes!!!

Dumbasses....no plates....probably no insurance.....yet, they have the nerve to take a car on city streets......Couldnt find a parking lot or some place to try it?.....

Its still a car, no matter how its powered

Innocent enough, and a neat project, but the brake issue and certainly no registration are valid concerns. They could have saved themselves some grief with little effort and a little more smarts.

AFAIC bicycles and scooters should be licensed and insured as well. AND made to realize that traffic laws apply to them. A good percentage of them seem to think the rules don't apply. But maybe that is a topic for a future thread.

 Agree Dave!!"MOST"of these cyclists want the separate lanes, accomodate them to the fullest, yet they pay "didely squat" for road up keep, & ignore the rules of the road, & no way of identifying them when thay break the law???? Lic plate & insurance a definate "MUST" then listen to them "WHINE" about the cost of cycling in the city!! Well join the motoring public, & pay your share!!!!
