Hello all. Name is Paul. I'm a diesel / refrigeration mechanic from Ingersoll (about 10 minutes east of London)

Two projects are '68 GMC P/U and a '62 Galaxie Wagon.

The wagon I just bought and haven't really touched yet. Currently in the planning/budget process. The car was originally supposed to have a 352 now has a 351M. Solid running engine so I think I'll keep it for now.
The p/u has a 383. It's mostly complete (engine) but I do keep toying with the idea of adding fuel injection.

Boy, that wagon has been around! My dad bought that from a guy in St Thomas, who brought it from Arizona. I bought it from him and traded it for my 47 to a guy in Thamesford. I assume that is where you got it from!? Its a REALLY solid ol' girl eh?

Exactly where I found it. I don't think he had it long, something about too many projects. It's changed hands a few time since it's been in Canada but I don't think anyone here has driven it. It still had an Arizona plate on it. I can't belive how solid it is. It needs some mechanical and interior work but that's easy, body work is not my forte.

Discovering there is a real difference between the p/u and the wagon. Everything you could want or need for the pickup is available from multiple sources. Galaxie parts are a little more scarce (especially wagon specific parts) and thus a little more expensive.

That might be why some guys like the wagon more that the truck. Not cause its more expensive but because its not as common.
