According to SEMA in the US legislation has been introduced in the US to ban gasoline with more than 10% ethanol. They are asking US citizens to get on the bandwagon and make sure they do their part to keep E15 out of gas stations.
We buy bulk fuel and I was talking to my distributor. We are not going to see it anytime soon. They are having major issues in the US from a lot of manufactures. E-10 is here to stay acording to my supplier. We only sell non ethanol fuel at our pumps.
Even the E10 causes severe damage in the older cars fuel systems. I memntioned before that it ate the fuel bowls right off a holly carb in a car club members 28 Ford Vicky!! He was lucky it didn't catch fire when the fuel poured all over the engine!! I couldn't believe the holes that were rotted right thru the bowls!!!!

Some good info frome the carbshop on deathanol and more on pre 35 carbs biggest problem is that most of the hose, seals and fuel line parts where not compatable whith this crap like putting regular oil in your brake system . So if you do have any old rubber line change it to the newer stuff . letting the stuff sit seems to be the worst thing to do so its a good excuse to drive more.
Just got back from a roadtrip from fla and didnt see any e15. 5000 kliometers using mid grade fuel,,,pullin the trillium with the dakota 4.7. They bitch about the high gas prices but its still 2/3 the price here for regular.
I'm heading to Summit Auto[ Akron Ohio] next thurs. I'll keep my eyes open at the pumps!! No worries this trip, as the 010 "Burban" will run on up to E85 but have never seen that $hit sold anywhere????
