Come on !!! DO IT YOURSELF !! Your name is Gearhead, so you'll figure it out !! seriously, it's not that difficult !! I am definitely NOT a bodyman or painter, but if you do your homework beforehand and use quality materials you really can't mess up. I actually won best paint at a show once, and I laughed because it looked like crap when I painted the car, but todays paints can be sanded and buffed to a show car finish. It will cost you $6000 minimum to get a quality job done !!

I believe i have seen your red car at a cruise nite in ajax.......isn't it an ESSEX used to be a 4 door turned into a 2 door. ??
mike
Close Mike !! It was a 4-door Dodge that was turned into a 2-door. I'm surprized you remember it because I've only taken it there a couple of times, and I didn't even go last year.
HEMI43....actually i have looked at that car more than 2 times and did a series of multiple photos of it on www.hotrodhotline.com events coverage , i think, no idea when. Might also have seen it at one of the autofests and maybe shake rabble & roll in whitby? Also that one day event up hwy 35/115 .? Sometimes i get doing so much looking at QUALITY cars like yours I forget where exactly i have seen them.
Dodge EH, huuum, forgot that part. Next time I see your car out at an event and with the "how i did it book " ?? with car , will have to poke around some. Great looking car in "viper red " ? Have not seen the trailer with it, like your avatar.
Ajax event run by Rick went to pickering canadian tire after montanas at ajax got a 300 car saturday nite event tossed because the NEW CAR GUYS were taking all the customer parking directly behind restaurant. Pickering was not a popular place and rick is scheduled to make a re-appearance back in ajax at another mall parking lot this spring.
Shake rabble and roll restaurant drive-in in western whitby on hwy 2 has pretty well taken over saturday & monday nites for cruise nites.
The trailer I sold a couple years ago. My Son got too big and it started getting cramped when we went camping. I don't do too many car shows/ cruise nights because I would rather be driving than parking. Also, anything West of Oshawa is too congested for my liking. I'd much prefer drives towards Port Hope. I'm sure we'll see you around though !! I have a feeling my car will be on the Autofest logo this year, and hopefully make it on all the T-shirts. That would be cool !! I'll have to wait and see
I wouldn't mind seeing that little hot rod in the arena @ Moparfest. (I know people). Although, I don't anyone that'll cut me a break when it comes to paint and body work.

I will probably wait till the last minute before I decide about going to Moparfest. It's been a while !! Another show I enjoy out there is the Fleetwood Country Cruise.

Fleetwood is an exceptional cruise, I love it, unfortunately, lately it has been to close to Moparfest and I can't make it.
Ya, it's currently not "on the road", but is planned to be again. It took me a bit to trigger which truck that was...knew I recognized it but took a while to trigger my brain as to who owns it now.
When my father-in-law and I (trying not to get in his way) painted my Chevelle in my home garage, he laughed at my overhead florescent lighting. He had me turn out the lights, close the doors, and he painted with the gun in one hand and a trouble-light in the other. I kid you not. He had painted like this for decades. Said it was the best way to see how the paint truly laid down. Not sure if it matters, but it was base/clear, about 90 degrees and about 90% humidity that day. Paint still looks great 8 years later.
