Great video, nice to see there is still old tin around, amazed the EPA haven't made the guy scrap everything. There used to be a yard along a hill on I81 going to Carlisle, understand he was forced to clear everything out, gas, oil, etc leaking into the soil.
The Gov. I think is trying to put these out of business!!! I know the local yard here has had to install special tanks & all fluids have to be drained before the vehicle goes out to yard or for dissasembly!! Problem there is you can't hear a engine run with no fluids or sitting on a rack & take their word for it that it's a "GOOD' one!!!! Hard to find a yard now that has 'anything below a 2000" & they consider that an "OLD CAR" Lakefield & Kirby are the only ones I know in my area!!!!!

the typical government mantra is as follows, if it moves tax it, if it keeps moving regulate it, if it stops moving subsidize it. we are the enemy here folks, our government hates us deeply and makes every effort to take away or rights and freedoms. our governments waste our tax dollars with abandon and do not care about us, we are sheep to them. any excuse that can be had to take away our rights they will do. wrecking yards are nothing more than revenue streams

Isn't that the reason that the Americans have their 2nd amendment?
When my son turned 14 ? i kept him home from school, for his birthday we toured two scrap yards, had lunch out, then went to the speed shop for a visit, then stopped at two repair shops to see what they were up to.
(He learned a bit more "Hands on" things that day then what he would in school.)

I'd say he learned "A LOT" more!!! & He won't have to take a test on it, & get "passing" mark even if he failed it!! How are these kids supposed to learn anything about "LIFE" if they get a "PASS" on everything in school. The 1st Failure in real life will "MORTIFY" them!!! Nothing like a day in the junk yard, AH!! Heaven???
