Found these links on Jalopy Journal. Thought you guys might like them. Hopefully I inserted links properly. Each one is 60 minutes. All in all 2 hours well wasted. http://youtu.be/GFCBOwD-BwI http://youtu.be/H4Mek-AOXCE

Thanks Hemi43. None of my kids were home. I'm temporarily technologically handicapped until they return.

I love playing and chasing my nextdoor neighbours dog but I can honestly say "I do NOT get along with all dogs".  Just a week or two ago a dog (that doesn't know me) from down my street got out.  I wandered down with the intention of letting someone in the house know he was out (don't have their phone number).  Well, I got to the sidewalk in front of their house and the dog (looks like a very large pitbull type) decided he didn't like me being there (on his property) and "challenged" me by blocking my passage and barking his nasty BIG head off at me while staring me down.  Scared the crap outta me (not literally).  All of the nearby trees had been pruned of their lower branches (thank you township) so I was eyeing the trunklid of the dog owners car all the while picturing a video I had seen of a pitbull being shot 5 or 6 times and still attacking.  I did not turn my back on the dog, I slowly backed away and he (lucky for me) decided I was not a threat and lost interest.  I can't imagine what could have happened if a small child, after being confronted by this dog, had turned and ran.  After it was over I was still rattled for another ten minutes.

Were you coming back from the bar with a pound of carry-out wings ?? That would probably explain a lot of things !!

Where to stay is the question. No camping on the salt correct?

From what I've read local motels in Wendover book up fast. I believe there is some kind of camping available. Don't quote me, never been there, but it's on my list of do before you die stuff.

I reckon it's really got to be a team effort to do this. Big RV, big enclosed trailer, big laughs all round.

You guys would be able to build a monster between you surely?

Any idea where you can get a list of all the records to aim for?

Not that it would matter, merely being there and taking part would be amazing.

Love the videos. Visiting the salt during speedweek is on my "bucket list"!
