own a 57 Pontiac, 46 Chevy 1 ton and dragged home a 38 chevy 1/2 ton that had been sitting hidden in the bush for the last 40+ yrs. Yes its one my good buddy from Parry Sound probably missed
the 57 is getting a sway bar from an 80 F-Bird and switching to non power disc brakes on the front...the 46 is getting a new A-883 4 spd o/d tranny that I just scored. Swapping out a 4 spd saginaw thats been in there since the mid 90's.
Hey welcome Rusty, i remember you from another site!! Lol
(I,m just up the road a ways from you.)
Wondering what engines are in the vehichles ?
the 46 was built around the early 90's and mounted on a pk series '73 chevy 3/4 ton chassis . Its got a 350 4 spd saginaw( and getting a A-883 4 spd od this spring) 14 bolt floating 4:11 rear.
The 57 spent some time in Parry Sound in the 80's . It had a built 283. Now has a 69 327 I got from a oval racer in North Bay. Its 30 over, 11/1 speedpro pistons, 461 heads, 11" clutch, lumpy cam, 375 hp snowflake intake, guadrajet, 70's fenderwell hedders, m21 to a 10" posi.
Would like a tunnel ram someday.
