Isn't the truck grilles taller than the car grilles?

Looks like I'm answering my own question. I got an email from chevys of the 40's and they say the truck grille is taller.....but not how much taller.

after my first post I emailed the "Chevy's of the 40's" company asking them if there was a difference. They replied that yes the truck grill is taller but they didn't say how much taller the 38 truck grill is from a 38 car grill.

I have an original 38 Chev car grill. I would let you measure it to see the differences but I just Googled where you live and it would be a very long drive.
I do know that they look similar but are different.
