I can't imagine painting a bus with a roller let alone doing all the work it must have taken to paint it with all those leaves.
What's the deal with the repair on the fender? Almost looks like stitches. Any chance of a closeup?
How far off is the Olds from being on the road? My "heap" is a '38 Olds coupe. The skull would have suited my car on Sunday as I drove it into Toronto for a funeral.

I didn't want flat black (too many out there) so I thought I would add some flat white to lighten it hoping I would like it. I didn't like what I was getting so I decided (just for a joke/stupid experiment) to add some gloss blue to the mixture being the car was originally blue. Tried a couple of different mixes and some test sprays and I am really happy with how it ended up. I think the final mix was 3 parts flat black, two parts flat white and 1 part gloss dark blue. Extremely cheap and I don't have to worry about bugs, gravel, dirt roads, stone chips etc ...
And now back to the original post (sorry)

No roller, but a lot of palm/maple leafs. It took about 3 days. Everybody kept stopping by to have a look and chat. Slowed me down for sure.
But it was fun to do something different and my buddy was so happy.
I'm hoping to be driving mine by this summer if time permits. And if everybody around this house knows whats good for them......there will be time.lmao.
'38 Olds. Nothing special, won't win any shows ... just a driver that gets me into shows. 305 with T5 stick, Mustang II front, '68 Camaro rear, Jeep Cherokee leafs, '77 Camaro wiring and steering column. Rides nice ... hate the wheels. Mixed flat black, flat white, and gloss blue Tremclad for the paint. Most fun I have with it is when I get comments from people in their 80's ... always makes them smile. Put a hitch on it so I can haul stuff. Gets used year round as long as the roads are dry.
