I had a 54 Newyorker for sale awhile ago with parts car.The counter showed over 3500 hits never got a phone call out of it .The first guy that actually came to see the car baught it and said he was very happy.I think the hits are just board people looking at stuff they have no intention of buying,but you are correct that even though hits don't mean contact, it does make people wonder if there is something wrong. Ed
