The cd in my 05 blazer wouldn't eject...it just made a clicking sound. So after a long search found this site. I followed the detailed steps and after about 2 hrs its all fixed.

Here's the site;

Thanks Rusty, Always good to have info to be able to fix something instead of just tossing it.
There's a lot of satisfaction in figuring out something and getting it to work again.

I was happy since I had the new led zepplin cd set and one of the cd's was in there...I could play it but not eject it.... I see no reason to spend more money when all it took was some time and a piece of wire about 1-1/2 " long...actually I used an old banjo string for the repair.

We're car guys, and fixing stuff is what we do. If I had to replace something everytime it broke, I would be broke !!

today I was off work so fixed a rear wiper motor on our trailblazer. Just needed some wd40 to free it up and disolve the corrosion......hope it works for a while or else I'll have to buy a new one.
