All they have to do is charge a $30.00 Enviornmental tax every time you bought/sold a car.... No hassle... we could , just pay the dam fee, and be gone .....

what did the eggheads in govment who dreamed up this new cash grab think was going to happen when vehicles started failing like crazy? the unwashed masses would just sit back and tolerate it? not likely
As great as this all sounds there is a major flaw. Called both my local MP and Mike Harris's office, the e-petition we all signed can't be presented in the Legislature as it must be an original hard copy with a signature, what I'm told is the 1500 signatures he quote in the video where actually hard copy petitions that had been signed. Long story short, we're wasting our time with the online form other than providing a sensing survey, it carries no political weight in the Legislature. More political BS.
One thing that would be easier to keep tabs and activity on this subject would be trying to keep it all in one place, right now we have about 10 different threads running all with different titles covering the same topic..makes it confusing and really hard to keep tabs on it..
And for all the bitching and whinning that been posted in previous months it seems that all of a sudden it is not very important to anybody and yet this is hte best door that has ever opened for us.. We have several of our MPPs on board,we have it being disscussed in the media, the legislater, and an election looming in Ont in about June.. lots of oportunity to get off our lazy a$$ and do something in the form of real protests and yet no-body seems to be able to find a few minutes to actually sign and mail a real petition protest...
Like I've mentioned before, I'd be more then willing to have a petition form available for signing at Moparfest, and I could bring it along with me to all the venues we attend prior the show, to promote and sell tickets. That alone could easily generate thousands of signatures. I'd bring it with me to swap meets etc...also. The petition form would need to be well written, and include all the bill no's etc...pertaining to it. If this is to be presented to "The House", it needs to be done right. Send me a copy via PM and I'll take it from there.
what about mega speed show . Not to put them an theyre venue on the spot . but if,n you could have people at the gate with a clip board , a quick signature from people old enuff to drive , at a show that will get say 50 , 000 people , even if only 25 % signed that would be a good start maybe ..77.
