Cause the Rambler guy is the only one with any taste maybe ??? Some body should make these pics into one of those posts where you gotta identify the cars in the pictures . Now that would be a challenge ..77.

Just remember if they saved them all none of our cars would be worth anything.Every time I see a vintage car rusting away in a field I just think it means mine is worth a few bucks more, and yes Fatstax, that does mean with a fillup it is now worth $50.Wouldn't be any fun if they saved them all.By the looks of Kijiji there are more cars for sale than there are buyers anyway. Ed
remember boys those cars in those days were the disposable cars i haul to the wreckers this age. they were the wore out stuff not worth fixing, heck i see cars in the pile somebody paid in excess of 50000 dollars for and now are nothing but scrap. ed is right if they all got saved there would be hundreds all over the place
when i was a kid / probably lil punk , i worked at holt auto wreckers in barrie . one summer a mint , in my mind , real nice metallic blue w/ white vinyl top challenger came in , cant remember the eggsact yr , but it had the single back up lense tween the tail lights . i seem to think 318 2 bl auto , with white an blue interior , sat out frt all summer nobody wanted it went in the back yard . motor burned oil an trans was f,ed up . same wreckers two white sunbeams , like twins , went scrap , same wreckers a pr of scooter step thru ,s same deal . in 1972 a 10 yr old car was way out dated an just scrap ..77.

i was down to minnakers a couple of times when they crushed out. it was a sin. yea a bunch was done but they still put some stuff through that had a lot of good metal on them.
Didn't AMC eventually become part of Mopar??? At least they kept ugly all in the family
You know, statements like that are just divisive and do nothing for the board except cause disention. Maybe you thought you were being funny but I really don't think we need that kind of input.

A crying shame for sure, but I did notice that the majority were "more doors", but still loads of good parts in those piles. I'm observing a moment of silence in honour of them all - especially the wagons!!!
