Welcome from Vineland Steve. What's in the Rancho ?
It's a warmed up 429 with a CJ C6 and 3.91s with a spool. Would work much better if it would hook up! 60' times are brutal at 2.2 seconds, but it recovers nicely to run out the back door at a best of 13.20 at 107.65 MPH. This was accomplished a few years ago when it had the 4.30s and a short 26'' BFG T/A street tire, but those times may improve with the current gear and taller 29'' tire. I may drag it out this spring just to see....

Hey y'all, fresh over here from the Can. Rod site, the HAMB, and the Hub Garage. During the week following Detroit Autorama I had a short discusion with Fast Elvis in the ELTA shop about this site. He said it was the happenin' place to be - so here I am!
I'm extremely into Fords, Old cars, vintage racers, car shows and swap meets, photography, Da Blues, rocka-billy, southern and classic rock among other loud noises (even the wife). I already know a bunch of you from the other sites and around London Town, but I'm looking forward to catching up to the rest of you too!
I'll be sharing my personal projects and event coverage as time allows.
Talk later- Fordy.

I guess Mark (fast Elvis) gave you some good direction ...welcome to more horses, older whisky, younger women, more money..and almost no rules..just a little respect for each other..good to to have you here..
Thats what I was hoping to hear. A looong time back I was in Burnaby B.C. Ran into a fella had a Ranchero with a big block in it. That thing was NASTY. Left a lasting impression I'll say that much.

Yeah, sorry we kinda lost touch there Dave. How's the latest Maverick project coming? The last I saw the cowl vents we replaced and the cowl top attached.....but that was some time ago!!!
I hope you hung onto those fenders I reqested years ago! Lol!!! Still on the back burner and no progress on that one. Shame on me! Too many irons in the fire I guess.
