I've been lurking for awhile and finally joined. I may not post a lot but I sure read all the great posts on this site. When I get my butt in gear, I am working on a 28 Ford.

I'm not related to John Rossiter but I have heard of him. As a matter of fact, I just about got thrown out of a machine shop a few years ago when I told them my last name was Rossiter and I really don't know what that was all about. LOL
I'll have to get busy and take some pictures of my car and the progress I make on it.

John is quite famous for his blower engines in drag cars like Beyond Berserk,Hemi J and others. Have met him @Stthomas Raceway Park.

Last I remember of John Rossiter, he was living in Dickson Hill (just off Markham rd) and working out of his basement. .. then I think he moved to Florida and was working for Suncoast
I remember a street race being set up between a '70 Chevelle and a ragtop late '60's Vette
I see a whole wack of remote control planes in the background ... I think you may have found a friend in "DaveM" on here, he is also into r/c aircraft as I understand it.

I think I remember signs on Markham Rd. years ago with his company name but that is the closest I ever got to him. All my racing experience has been on oval tracks.
The airplanes also belong to my son and he lives north on Newcastle.

Is it possible that I saw this car in newcastle last night?
It very possible because he likes to drive it as much as he can. He did take it to a Tire dealer to see if they could straighten out a tire that is a "thumper" that vibrates between 60 and 70 mph. Last week I drove to Newcastle in it to get some Chinese food.

Welcome from Newcastle. Have you tried the "Tang Dynasty" in Bowmanville? My friend, who's a plumber, has been to most of these places and he always suggests the Tang...
