After four years starting with nothing but a rough body shell, I finally took it out today for its first drive. (On a gravel road for the first 1/2 mile) Still have the plate C clamped in place but I'll fix that and hope to get many miles of enjoyment.

and it looks real purty ...but the rear tires are bald??? you will need to watch out for the tire cops..biggrin   she is a beaut..

You better add a couple hours lead time before you go anywhere with it if your on a schedule.

"Tire cops"  mall cops, cop cops, cable cops.......they  will all stop ya just to have a look.

OMG that is awesome talk about attention to detail!!!! 409, to cool are those stromberg carbs? Is that a real generator or is it converted to an alternator very cool car.I would like a closer look I bet you got a lot more cool things that you been working on.biggrin

Mine own opinion , either a 348 /4oh9 with multiple carbs , flat head with blower , or old skool hemi with a high rise intake , that just says , HOT ROD , right there ..77.

Friggin sweet! Love the engine choice. Those 348/409's seem to be getting more popular. I have two tri-power 348's in my stable.
