Well another thing on my bucket list is to go to the indy 500 but with my job I never know more than a week or two if I'm working or not but this year I'm clear to go.I know it's late but does anyone know of a hotel close to track? I've goggled some but it's confuzing because I don't know the area so I thought I would ask here as I'm sure there must be someone with experiance.Thanks for any help.

I go to Indy every March, I stay at the Drury Inn North east. It's about 1/2hr drive to the track, nice clean and reasonably priced.

Yeah..lucky Randy... Looks like I will be on the lawn mower for the next month..Can't beleive how much the grass has grown in the last 10 days.. Summer has lots of nice cruising time but it also brings a lot, of yard work..sure interferes with rodding..this is the time of year I wish I just had a small paved parking lawn..biggrin Have a great trip Randy.. some of us just live right..confuse

Thanks Gazoo that hotel was booked but got the twin to it and the lady said it was 12 miles from the track.

 Don't worry Chuck come on along with us the lawn will still be there when you get back.
