Is this a second time this has happened ??. I think I seen an ad or something on kijiji or face book about this kinda thing . But thot it was like a month back . If I have some one coming to my place I always make sure I have a buddy waiting in the shop . If I,m going some where to buy and its gonna be more then like a hundred or two . I,ll take a buddy with me .
Last summer I had a dude come all the way from torunna , 4 dr truck pulls in an him an three other guys get out . they were all smiles till we went into the shop to view the stuff . The two guys I had in there literally out weighed his three guys . They got a bit quiet after that .
But for this guy it,s either a scam or its not gonna be a good outcome . You just cant trust anybody these days ..77.

This is pretty sad.... can't even sell things on kijiji... its terrible you can't trust anybody anymore, I like to give people a chance and everyone I've met selling/buying things has been great to deal with, but I will definitely be more cautious from now on!!! I hope he is found and returned to his family, there is no point to all of this! Just doesn't make sense.... What's the world coming to?

latest is they have found his cell phone in Brantford. They also found another seller of a dodge who had the guys at his place before this guy went missing.

this from the Hamilton neswpaper

Police are expanding a search of industrial areas in Brantford while appealing for video footage from that city after finding the cellphone of missing dad Tim Bosma. In an update Friday, Hamilton investigators said a witness also spotted the 32-year-old's truck passing through Brantford downtown around 10:10 p.m. Monday. That's an hour after Bosma disappeared from his rural Ancaster home in his black Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck along with two prospective buyers who responded to an online ad. Staff Sergeant Matt Kavanagh appealed for security footage from Brantford between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m., the night of the disappearance, noting police don't know the truck's route through the city. "Check that surveillance footage," he said, urging residents to use a special tip line at 905-546-2100. "This is an important piece of the investigation." Kavanagh also emphasized a new suspect description of a man with the word "ambition" tattooed in a box on his wrist, "where a person would wear a watch." Investigators have spent days searching in the Hamilton area — including descending on the parking lot of Dundurn Castle around 7:30 a.m. Friday to check out a parked black pickup truck that proved unrelated to the case. On the ground in Brantford, police officers were spotted searching near Fen Ridge Court and Oak Park Road. Other officers were seen near the bottom of the embankment off Powerline Road near the Grand River. Brantford police refused to comment Friday, but Hamilton investigators confirmed local police and the OPP are helping search that city. More than 150 officers have been involved in the massive air and ground search so far. Kavanagh also revealed the two suspects scouted another Dodge Ram truck in Etobicoke in an "almost identical scenario" the day before Bosma went missing. Kavanagh said the prospective seller in Etobicoke wasn't hurt but became suspicious of the two men, who claimed to have walked to the truck owner's business in an industrial-area. He said the taller suspect drove while the other suspect sat behind the owner in the passenger seat. "Fortunately for this person, he is a very large individual," Kavanagh said of the Toronto-area seller. "I think he would have overpowered the both of them." Kavanagh said police discovered the May 5 incident after obtaining records of the cellphone used by one of the suspects to contact Bosma. That cellphone was linked to a bogus name and was only active three months, but police determined the phone was used at several sites in Etobicoke. The massive social media response to the case continued Friday, with several people posting about potential video footage. One woman posted on Facebook her west-end Brantford business wanted to submit security footage near Oak Park Road, where police were seen searching Friday. Examples of "Ambition" tattoos also circulated on Twitter and Facebook, although they didn't come from police. Online posters scoured tattoo parlour catalogues in Etobicoke and across the GTA for the unique tattoo. Trying to squeeze a long word on your wrist in that location "is kind of weird," agreed Hamilton tattoo artist William Moncrieff, who hadn't seen such an example before. "To have a box around it is also unique," he said. "But I think the location would stand out just in terms of trying to fit (the tattoo)." - with files from Brant News <iframe width=";

If the one that they arrested (Millard) is one of these characters, I would think the cops should be looking to see if the first intended victim could ID him. And if it is this guy, sounds like the 'little rich kid' is bored with regular life. Should get much more interesting for him in the slammer. That is, if the lawyers he can buy with his deep pockets can't lie his way out for him. Seems strange that there is no mention made of any vehicle that they would have arrived in, when they went to see either of the 'For Sale' trucks. So how did they get there? Is there another person, or persons involved? Did the 'For Sale' vehicle get followed by the buddy or buddies in the 'delivery' vehicle? Lots of questions, scenarios and speculations. No doubt though, the longer it takes to locate Tim Bosma, the more bleak the outcome appears to be.

On the news they said that the Millard plane hanger at Waterloo Wellington was cordoned off but they were waiting on a search warrant. If there was a possibility that Bosma was in there why would they wait for a warrant? A lot of time has past but lets hope he is found alive.

my money says if they cops haven't found the other guy an the body yet , then the guy is doing the same trick the cops fell for with the bernardo,s he is stalling , buying time an making deals with who ever will listen to him . If they dumped the guy some where , the longer he takes to say where , the less evidence against him will survive ie finger prints , boot marks , tire marks , all that csi stuff they have in States an not up here . That's better for him an his partner for shure ..77.

Gotta agree with u 77. Lawyer says don't say white....could me mouths be 4 u find this guy is they did indeed kill him.. But it's a week tomorrow. Don't look good..suspect says he bought truck for parts....they gotta deal out with this guy as did Karla. Sad to say....longer this goes on without confession. This guy could walk...this guy can afford the best defense lawyer there is.

I hope you're right, that there was in fact a motive for his disappearance. If this was totally random, then I've given up on humanity !! I hope we get to find out what really happened, because this sure is a weird story.confuseconfuseconfuseconfuse

Truck was at his moms house? She should be in jail as well as an accessory.... Sorry but she wasn't the one to call the cops about that AMBITION tattoo that she knows her son has. Put the squeeze on the mom and maybe the son will talk. Its not like she didn't know a truck was hidden at her house.

I had just read the same report on the web. Said he was found on some property owned by Millard. Sad very sad, I feel sorry for his wife and family.

Very curious as to why they haven't said anything about the other suspect though

how terrible for this guy and his family, nobody deserves this.  i feel there has to be more to this than a simple test drive of a truck gone bad.  why in hell would they kill the guy over a 2007 dodge of all things?

As a newcomer to Canada, and Ancaster, this really saddens me.
I'm not going to live in fear, it just means I will be suspicious and probably overly cautious in my new home town, which is a shame.

As was mentioned previously, I really hope there is more to this than just a stolen truck. I feel sick for the family of Tim, they will not recover from this any time soon.

And if this millard guy turns out to be the culprit, I hope he rots in hell.

Yeah, it's been on my mind all friggin day !! Something just doesn't add up !! Why would a guy (Millard) that has a successful business, seems to be rich, throw it all away.
The only scenario that I could think of, is that Millard actually paid cash for the truck and someone killed Bosma to steal the cash after Millard left. The only problem to my story is that Bosma's remains were found on Millard's property.
I feel sorry for the little kid and his Mother !! It's $hitty ..

Another scenario might be a setup. If Millard is behind this, why would he park the truck in his mother house instead of stripping or destroying it, and then why would he burn the body on his own land and not bury it.

It's all a bit too convenient.

Poor Tim Bosma might have just been a pawn in someone else's bigger plan to destroy the life and company of Millard.

This is just terrible... I felt sick when I heard they found his body... It just disgusts me! My thoughts are with his family.... just unbelievable

I just heard on a report that the vehicle that dropped off the two guys to look at the truck was involved, said they didn't know how many people were in that vehicle but said it followed the truck when they drove away... they mentioned police may believe he was targeted?

This is very strange... there's a lot of things that don't make sense? I hope that they get to the bottom of this!!!

Did Mr. Bosna have a large life insurance policy?
Who are the ones to collect on it?
Did the Bosnas know the Millards?
Was there some hanky panky going on there?
Did Millard need the truck for a chop shop caper?
A lot of questions that will eventually be answered.

If this was the U S some ambulance chaser would being suing Kijiji for not screening the buyers........ and would win.

Wow   if this is true , then theres a ****load more to this story then we can imagine ,  do we know what Tim did for a living , where he lived isn't a cheap place to live , the truck was 2007 and was selling it so chances are bought new ( wasn't a cheap truck when new )   so there is money  ..

If there wasn't a previous attempt to purchase another truck Id say some hanky panky involved , but that being said makes no sence....

Surely this didn't just happen over a truck , amature sluthes must be goin krazy over this...

im sure mallard had a cell phone and traced his signals after they took tim ,  they also know who he called and who called him after the initial crime , so again police know a lot more then what their saying,,,Im sure when you do something like this you just don't talk to people your involved with ...

If mallard had gps in his personal car , they will be able to trace where its been as well as his cell phone,  im sure police just following these devises and letting them tell the story.

On chch news yesterday they show police at Cambridge farm owned by mallard ,, Im sure they found him yesterday and made sure for properly I D tim and let family 1st before public release ..

who ever did this with mallard knows cops on to them , but when caught if they all stay silent , makes cops work so much harder .. how many are involved here ????

mallard could buy 1 of these trucks most any day of the week , this guy has/had coin ,  apparently he lived at his dads house that he inherited ,, so why buy a farm in Cambridge last year,,  what did he use the farm for ( was it a grow op ) or chop shop ...

Such a horrible ending , senceless murder ,
