i was thinking chev as well, has th esame hole alignment for the heater core as my 39 and that thing in the center for allowing wires to go thru the firewall is the same as well. looks to be in pretty mint shape.
The funny thing about this posting ???. some of us have been working on our project cars for years . This dude has only been in the country , what ? 2 - 3 months ?? and all ready has a great useable body to start with , a frame , a motor , a trans . He,ll be rolling by end of summer at this rate That's a big balancer 3fiddy . Make sure you check the numbers on that 4 bl intake before you toss it . It might be a treasure for a sbc guy maybe . ..77.

Is that a TH250 tranny I saw in the truck? You may want to reconsider if you're planning on putting some torque to it with the SBC.
Not too bothered about power for now Pugsy, just want it on the road. Maybe get it on the road for next summer, have a season of cruisin, then think about upgrades for the following year.
