Ok guys, I just bought this today.

Problem is, I have no idea what it is biggrin

It's on a Ford frame, and it's a bit of a frankenstein, but I like it. I'll be rat rodding it, so not too bothered about originality.

However, I will be needing ownership papers for it, so it would be nice to try and match it up to something, lol.

Here's the pictures...

I'm thinking Essex or Hudson, but I can't figure out the back.Looks like it was grafted on or changed somehow and I don't mean just the rumble/trunk elimination. What a great start. Ed

thats amazing that wrong doors could fit something they were not made for.  were the doors modified heavily to fit this body?

Hemi. He wants to go fast. Not anchor it in lake ontario

As far as rear doors fitting Easy to do. Just install door and weld front back of cab to fit

Yes, truck lid is sunk and blended in, pretty neat job.

I think we will be chopping the roof a wee bit more.

That's a big balancer 3fiddy . Make sure you check the numbers on that 4 bl intake before you toss it . It might be a treasure for a sbc guy maybe . ..77.

it's been two months biggrin

Hey, I have a lot of catching up to do you know. I've been standing in the rain for 45 years!

But you know, I couldn't have done it without the help I got from this forum, and especially Grumps. Thanks buddy, long way to go, lol.

Before I run out of money, I need to buy a decent mig welder, and some metal to make a frame. Maybe someone might want to buy this frame I have? biggrin

Nice looking project Dave.

Don't worry about the fit on the doors. We'll teach you how to make some new ones from scratch, ha.

Is that a TH250 tranny I saw in the truck? You may want to reconsider if you're planning on putting some torque to it with the SBC.

Not too bothered about power for now Pugsy, just want it on the road. Maybe get it on the road for next summer, have a season of cruisin, then think about upgrades for the following year.
