Thanks Slim smile

Ok, new parts. Special big thanks to Gazoo for donating this to the cause and driving all the way to my house to deliver it. No idea what to do with it yet, lol.

(like my engine mock up?)

Wheel base length is only limited by the size of a man's garage

Looks like it's missing something...maybe something to hold the front and rear axles attached to the body. Or are you shooting for ultra lightweight.
That Rubbermaid tub is way too many cubic inches for a mock up, that's like a 20L.

Absolutely, leaving that Chevy rear axle behind at an intersection, would be the worst. Might be a better idea to step it back a few HP's and torque and throw in a small block Chevy.

Dave

Just a welcome to Canada ,the land of the over taxed and high price of admission

I'm sure the auto insurance industry has a pretty good strangle hold you and your wife as new drivers as well

Do you have any rims and tires to at least roll those axles around.

May have a couple of ford bolt pattern rims and tires  kicking around.

Dave, the Dodge front axle has a 4 1/2" bolt pattern, it's fairly common.

Nah Kev, it was sorting his boxes all night, then I had to do some screwing before he would let me leave. The damn drill was slipping, so Glenn had to come up and show me how to screw properly.

It was very demeening.

But hey, I got a gorgeous steering column, an old bad-ass horn, a steering box, some suspension rod things I have no idea what to do with, and loads of other goodies, so it was well worth the pain!

You have no faith.

all I'm missing is the wheels and white walls. And a carb and intake, and exhaust pipes, and a rad, and a frame obviously, but apart from those few things, that's my body....after I chop the rear end off and raise it up 5 inches
