Unfortunately, it's a cone (auburn) type and non-rebuildable. Still a good rear end though !! Would love to try it in my Dodge to see how much difference it would be compared to my 3.91:1 gears i have now. I would think that rear end should be easily worth $325.00.
Edit; I think Chrysler called both types of locking diffs " Sure-grip ". If I remember correctly, they changed to the cone style (like yours) in mid 1969. There should be a date code on the gears if they are original, but the gears on yours look aftermarket.

It's a "489" case which is the largest (strongest) of the 8 3/4", so it's worth a few bucks, but unfortunately, I can't tell from the pic wether or not it's a peg leg or Sure Grip unit or not. The Sure Grip unit (clutches), are worth more, as they are rebuildable, if it's a "Cone " type lock, it's worth less, as they have no wear parts to replace, machining is the only option. 4:30 gears in a Mopar center section is a bit odd, usually they are odd numbers, not even numbers. IE; 3:91, 3:73, 3:55, 3:23's etc...
It sure looks like a clean unit, and with good gears (not worn out), and Sure Grip (clutches), I'd go about $250. and go down from there, depending on gear quality...
That's a "Cone" type, a little less desirable, (2nd best), it looks to be in really good condition. I'd say $300.-$350., the gears look nice on it, depends on play. The pinion snubber is an added bonus. Is that gear ratio stamped on the gear? The drawback with that unit is that there is no replacement wear parts, if it doesn't lock up properly, you need to machine the surfaces the springs sit on, and then shim accordingly.
