Huron County OPP officers are investigating an overnight theft of a vintage sports car. The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro car was stolen from the backyard of a residence located on Maple Street in Clinton sometime between 11:00 p.m. last night and 7:00 a.m. this morning
The restored 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is valued at an estimated $71,000. The colour of the Camaro is azure turquoise. A hi...storic Ontario Licence plate was attached to the vehicle.

That's got to suck big time! What is so special about that Camaro, to make it worth $71K, (I'm not being a smart ass), it's got no special badging ie: yenko, RS/SS, Z28, is it a 427 car? There has to be a reason that car was stolen, and it would help if more info was available, to help identify the car or parts (god forbid).

Huron County OPP officers are investigating the theft of a restored 1969 Chevrolet Camaro from a backyard in Clinton.
Police say the vintage sports was stolen from a Maple Street residence sometime between 11 p.m. Monday and 7:00 a.m. Tuesday.
The car is a COPO replica, with an estimated value of $71,000. It’s azure turquoise in colour with an historic Ontario licence plate.

could be why its missing? the price's can get up there if its done properly, i know. the appraisal on my 69 coronet with the year correct hemi in it surprised me. i figured a big raise in the rate due to being classed altered, other motor, but if the car could come with that motor from the factory, not so bad.
