anybody contemplating buying electric cut-outs should stay away from the Pypes brand name. they are, how do i say, Junk. it is pretty much impossible to get them from leaking at the butterfly.  i have had them off and apart 3 times, once by a respected machine shop around here and they start leaking again shortly after. they are on my chevelle for now but i have just ordered another pair of Dougs. i have the dougs on my hemi coronet and they have worked flawlessly for 3 years now. what a brain fart when i bought the Pypes. trial and error but its an expensive error.

if you happen to see a pair of very slightly used pypes for sale in your travels, take a pass. wink-wink-nod-nod.

just a heads up guys.                       rick

Don't buy the Summit brand either. Both motors failed within a year.no
