Looks like I'll try vending at Rockton this weekend. Usually did Barrie had the same spot for over 20 years, but not any more besides if I need more socks I,ll go to wallyworld. i attended the rockton meet last weekend and it wasnt that good, i had planned om vending there but im glad i didnt bother. i was going to vend at the next one but now im not so sure, any info on what this one will be like?
Aside from the politics this swapmeet is supposedly run by the same people that ran the Waterdown meet. The weather sounds promising so we're gonna try it. This is the weekend it has been held on for many years.
If its hot and sunny it will be pacted. If its so so only the hard cores will show same as any outdoor show . Hard to pose beside your car and look cool in the rain. If they will take it out of the garage.
From your edge of the big smoke, head on down the QEW and jump on the 403 west at Burlington. Take HWY 6 NORTH. At the top of the escarpment, first light is HWY 5, go left (west) and carry on to a squirrelly round-a-bout and follow HWY 8 towards Cambridge. Rockton in on HWY 8. There should be signs and lots of activity. Rockton Fairgrounds is pretty big, hard to miss.

58 I'm just off Dundas and Third and I like to take a slower road so I go down Dundas all the way and stay far right at the round about and it takes you right to the swap meet on right.See ya there.

Eventful weekend no heat in motorhome Fri. night Brrrrrr. woke up Sat. to 1/2 of frost on truck. Sold some stuff and got sunburnt. Met Grumpy and Kev good to meet and talk. Hope to do it again.
