I'll post some pics in a bit. Hahaha. There was an edsel for sale last time I was home. So maybe. ;) When my Dad moved there in '05 his red BMW M5 stirred the pot a bit.
We Finally arrived on friday. Long road trip. We were not affected by the floods. Now i'm here. (Dodge is in transit), but i'm curious to know what events there are nearby. There had to have been a show yesterday, as old cars and a couple of tractors even rolled by.
Before the big Calgary flood, I rolled out to some of my favourite spots and took some farewell pics.

The vintage tin you saw might have been heading to Grand Bend ("The Bend") as they were having a classic car show at the dragstrip yesterday and today. If your ride wasn't in transit, you'd be able to drive right in for free!

Thanks for the welcomes. Yep it was grand bend! bah. If I'd have known! hahaha.. next time. Loving the car culture out here. St. Marys had a ford show at the dealer, aug 24 is a car show downtown. PM me if you want to come.
Looks like old bugsy (the 49) will be here next week. In time for the wedding.
