Putting a Fundraiser together for Easton
Permalink

Easton is a special little Guy He has Spina Bifida and wears braces on both legs, His Grandmother has put her life on hold for Both of her young grandsons, She is the main care giver, as her Daughter isn't capable to take care of her sons. Funding from the governments isn't very much so extras are limited such as for the special bike.

So this is a fundraiser for Easton to help him have a normal childhood

Bluechev and I are doing aYard sale and a  Car Cruise/ Show etc... on Sat June 8th  to raise money towards this bike.

We need to raise about $1,200.00

Would love for some of you Guys & Dolls to come out and bring your rides

If you like to donate to the yard sale etc.... that would be awesome

Bluechev is bbqing and I am offering Pedicures for $25.00 to all the Dolls

***If you like to help out or want to participate in the Car cruise ***  Please message Bluechev or Moon Doll

Place of Yard Sale / Car curse is at 123 Pontypool Rd Pontypool.

It's all over the map. I've been searching the past hour, and some are reasonably priced while some are a ridiculous ($5000) !! The best price I found for the one above is about $850 out of the US, but what I'm trying to find is that same bike without the "special needs" modifications. I E-mailed the manufacturer (Taiwan) to see if that trike is available here without the mods which I know they make (Kentex ktt-141).

http://kentex.com.tw/index.php/tricycles/ktt-141-detail

 edit;

Here's the same bike made by Kentex, but rebadged as a Mission Musketeer.

I will try and make it. Do you have any pictures of this special bike that he needs? I would be more than happy to build/modify a bike to help him out.

BAY CYCLE HAS GIVEN  A DISCOUNTED PRICE OF $1069.00 for the Bike. So that is what we are going for  as in our gold to raise .

So far in two days from the time I have posted on My FB I have got a Donations of $60.00 in cash, a box of stuff for the yard sale and a tray of Cup cakes, I think that is and awesome start so far

Every piece of special needs equipment i have ever seen was priced "Sky-High".

Just start pricing special needs wheelchairs with a head restraint. Thousands of dollars!!

To me the price of this equipment just seems "WRONG",, almost that the manufacturers are "Milking" the health system.

Yeah i know there are liability issues, and certain cases are unique .

That bike is $815. I didn't see anywhere about shipping. If it's included, that's only $920 with the HST. It might be free shipping in the US.

If you wanted to ship it to CBI in Niagara Falls New York, I would be happy to pick it up and take it through customs.

That same bike at Bay cycle will cost $1208.00 even with the discounted price. It pays to shop around because that's almost a $300 difference. Crazy !!

Ya, but the shipping might be the devil in the details. Someone would have to call down there and check it out.

nobody here have a trucker buddy running south. if i was still on the road it would be a no-brainer.

let me know where they are coming out of and i will see if i can do something. as stated it may possibly be free within the states.

I tried to call the company, but there was no answer. They're located in New Jersey, but if you read the fine print it states that the bikes are shipped from the UK. Still waiting for a reply from the manufacturer.
