got the last summer driver out today. it just don't feel right pumping the gas pedal so much after years of e.f.i.. it felt good though driving a standard. $1.43lt high test, ouch.
brief bio; bought a hemi motor from a 69 r/runner with 700 miles on the re-build in new brunswick about 9 yrs ago. wasn't cheap but i had to have it. lol it sat in my shop for 3-4 yrs while i was doing the chevelle. a buddy was up from las angeles, westech performance, and gave a blast for it just sitting there. my reply was, you are in the part of the world with all the cars, find me one. 2-3 months later i get a phone call and he says, here is what i am looking at, 69 coronet/440/318ci/black plate and how much. me--buy-it. a buddy and i go get it and another car. another storey. lol
drove it around here for 2 yrs collecting parts and the rest is history. hemi/ tremec 5spd-std-od/moser dana6o/ etc-etc. side note; this isn't the trans to use for race app.
as usual some pic's

i'm not putting efi down by any means. it has made life easier, BUT it's not old school.
