Welcome from Trenton. Looking forward to seeing more of this build. Going to keep the stock height of the cab? Chop? Rat? build as you go or do you already have a finished look in mind?

Stock cab height,I am 6'2'' so it's kinda tight.I will build a 4' box for the rear and will make fenders of some kind.I built my shop truck a 1951 International with the flat black look so I think I will paint this one up real shiny .
working on a46/47 chev truck looking for parts for sale if you have any email is smurf12344@hotmail.com nice hemi had 1956 new yorker back in the sixtis with a354.5 in it put it in a 60 dodg 2door was a blast out of hell do 160 or better on the 401
Very nice !! I like the use of the modern suspension/transmission behind a vintage engine. Should go down the road nicely. A nice T/B fuel injection on top of that hemi would be icing on the cake. Less than a month before Syracuse so you had better get to work !!
Make sure any EFI system that you choose, controls, and has programmable ignition timing. The EZ EFI version 1 does not, the MSD Atomic EFI is questionable at best.
Without full ignition timing control, EFI is a huge compromise.
We have had great success with the Holley systems.
I'm running the Holley Commander 950 T/B fuel injection. It controls both fuel and ignition. It's been on for over 6 years with almost no issues. This spring I had an O-ring leak at one of the injectors, but was no big deal to fix.
What area are you in?

I am located just north of Perth Ontario.Fast has just come out with a new system that has timing control as well.Looks more like a carb. I think I will break it in on a carb and then switch. It says you have to have more than 9" of vacum for it to work. With the cam I am running I think it will be close.
Finally had a little time to work on the truck.I needed the headers done so I could take the motor back out to paint.Pedals are in and the steering shaft sorted.

HI LARRY : That's real nice work -- I would like to shoot up your way soon for an intro , and coffee -- I'm right at the Narrows Lock -- LATER -- DON / Fleet 51
I am here Monday -Saturday most weeks, just north of Perth about 10 minutes on 511,then right on Concession 10A Drummond, first farm on the right 2727. I built a 392 Hemi for a guy near Westport, for a 1934 Plymouth.
Thanks, I sold the car to a local guy in 1997 and he still brings it to me almost every year for a little work.
Holding up pretty good considering it was the old red oxide primer and lacquer paint.
Hi, No the other 1946 is for a customer,S10 frame,350 Chev with a turbo 350.Stock looking on the exterior, lowered a little. Is going to be bright yellow.
You did a job well-done upgrading and restoring this vehicle. Btw, are you running 30 inches rims and tires on this vehicle or it just looks big in this photo?
