Ed??? commercial radio, never would have pegged you for that wink. Sooo much good music out there that's never played on the radio.

24/7 Rush,

24/7 Pink Floyd,

24/7 Led Zeppelin,

and more available online streaming. Few commercials, and no radio "personalities"  that think they are entertaining.

Hemi43 was all happy the other day he found a 24/7 ABBA site. evileye

Way to go Hemi

My wife bought us tickets to see rush at copps coll. in Hamilton in july .11th row floors

Last time I seen them was 1978 , was 16 years old at maple leaf gardens .was the release of 2112 and tickets were $ 7.80

Still have my ticket stub. Seen them once after that in buffalo but I don't remember broken ankle involved with that TRIP as well

I'll be there too, section 116 row 10!! I'd give my left nut for floors, but they are impossible to get unless you know someone. Never been to  Copps so hopefully there's a place for dinner and beers before hand. I went to the ACC last year to see them and it was a great show. How can it be a bad show?? It's RUSH after all !!

When the woman that lives in my house came home from country line dancing at the mighty double nickel last night . I set her down at the pooter an said baby listen to this an see what you think .
By the one minute mark she was like , " a little pair of shorts , or a skorts , and I would do this song so hard "
she had the pooter chair roboting , at the robots , break parts , in the song .
Like old rock is kool , BUT , this is a song that girlies are gonna squeeze out onto the dance floor , and shake theyre sh%t in ways that theyre momma,s never taught them . That's what this song is about .
the only chick that's gonna get up an dance to stair way to heaven , is that rehabbed , 55 yr old stripper , working an audience of 5 guys in an empty club . Fact of life .
I have a friend who likes rush . he keeps going on about some concert they played , and they had refrigerators an clothes washing machines on stage ???.
A driving c/d for me would / does have shake ya rumpa , fat bottomed girls , baby we were born to run , snoop dog , oooooops snoop lion now , hungry hearts , George thorogood metallica , thin lizzy , SRV , notorious Bee Eye Gee , beastie boys and I like soca an calypso music too sugar land
this daft is right next

http://youtu.be/PFYiRTPsrqg
on my favourites list , which is right next to the Opie tributes ..77.

Just like cars, everyone has their choice in music. Be kinda boring if we all drove the same car and listened to the same tunes.

I just happen to be the only one that has perfect taste in both !! biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

The daft punk song is a great song ,wonder what the rest of the cd sounds like?

Lot's of great one hit wonders out there!! I'm a country musician but like all styles of music

even punk and disco. Daft punk will never stand the test of time or produce as many songs or albums/cd's

as Elvis, dean martin  ,johnny cash, beach boy's , rolling stones, queen, bee gee's or rush. These bands are the 32 fords of the hot rod world the rest are ramblers, just basic transportion to get by.

I dug up this old post to tell a funny and maybe interesting story . me an some guys are at a local peeler club , one dude big jeff , like 6- 2 looks like Opie from SOA , tats beard etc , well at 6 pm they have this thing called the 6 oclock show down , or some thing like that . all the girls dancing that evening , get up on stage an kinda dance around , when song is done the come down offa stage an each one picks a guy outta the crowd an gives him a free kinda lap dance . its very popular .
well Jeffy has been acting kinda funny lately , an were all like ya know we gotta get this guy laid before he kills like 7 or 8 people . we re at the club an up on stage they played get lucky , but the girlies flash mobbed it , they all danced the same , and when the robot part came along they roboted it . it was good I tell ya , oh oh where,s Jeffy , he,s standing right at the stage tryin to talk to some girl . he,s standing by the stage , going , She,s mine , pick me pick me . were thinking holy fu ck , if the bouncers go an start a fuss , we gotta go too , but every one stays calm , whew , after the dance , she comes an sits at the table an holy sh it 5 ft 7 half French Canadian , half real Spanish like from spain . light tan skin , cop car black hair an eye,s . like friggin wow .
any ways she,s a 3rd yr some kinda blood work technician student , paying for her education by working nights . she,s gonna make some good coin . he,s a diesel tech in torunna , makes good coin too .
long story short they been dating since , and he hasn,t body slammed any one since an is axeually starting to calm down . when a dude is built like Opie , 6 ft 2 ish maybe 4 , 266 lbs , when that guy gets a bit rambunctious , ya gotta give him lotsa room , we, re all breathing a lot easier ha ha ..77.
