Use to stop in at R&R years ago when I was doing my Bell inspects in Sudbury.
They had a smaller shop at that time.

I went to R&R Classic Car today to check out the 57 Chev truck listed in the Kijiji ads.
Awesome deal and great value for the price but not what I was looking for.

I bought some parts while I was there and Ian Denis and I hang out for a while and chatted about the new location.
It sounds like it's gonna be NICE. I'm looking forward to seeing it when it's done

Parents own a hunting and fishing lodge north of Elliot Lake. We used to run some of the old logging roads and you would be surprised at what is and was left in the bush. Know of a few trucks left around some of the old logging camps and some that were used to get to some of the hunt camps. Sometimes the loggers would go in the spring and cut all fall and winter. Then when the spring thaw would start, they would ride the logs out and leave the trucks behind. Some broke down and they were pushed into the bush and left. Not worth the hassle to travel to town and get parts and then travel back to fix it. Also know where a train engine broke down. Logging company just rolled it off the tracks and brought in another engine. Was cheaper to push it off the tracks than it was to try and fix it. Know where there is a early fifties International that is about 100 feet from a paved road. Couple of guys were drunk and went off the road and hit a tree. They drove it a couple more miles to a trappers shack and left it there. Ownership was left above the sunvisor.

Hope your brother has a sense of humor and a sense of adventure. Take highway 108 north out of Elliot Lake, that will turn into highway 639. Keep going till you get to Mississagi Provincial park. Turn around at the entrance to the park and come south about a mile. (bottom of the big hill) On the west side is where the train tracks used to be about 70-80 years ago.Don't remember how many miles it was back into where the train engine is. The tracks were removed years ago and not much left to tell that there was ever train tracks back there. Was on cross country skis when we went back there 35?36? years ago.
