Damn it was hot.Excellent turnout. The day started with breakfast with Keith (70Chevelle)and Fatstax, actually he managed to be late and miss breakfast. Then a tour up to Golden Beach ,nice drive, till my little getto blaster ran out of batteries. When we got there it was kinda fun to hear Dave(the guy on the P.A. )announce the club as we parked.Met the rest of the guys,Steve and Al up there.Man it was hot.Lotsa stuff to do there, hellicopter rides, saw lots of crazeys way up in the sky paragliding I was told it was called. What I saw was nutty people dangling from an old drag chute on a long cable being towed by a fast boat out over hopefully deep, water. What could possibly go wrong there. There was also a display of the local model flying club, wow cool stuff there for sure.Man it was hot.Got to talk to lots of different people ,BlueChev and Moon Doll said the yard sale was a success and that the bike is on its way, next week I think they said,Scruffie was there with the rest of the Coasters.Molten said hello and we talked about ignition points,a subject of interest to both of us lately.I talked with Keeper from the Oshawa Aces about there show,I laughed because he had to ask the ladies present for the information, isn't that always the way .We met a couple of other Aces members that I remember from ther visit to the Port Hope fall fair show. There were evidently over 200 regestered and they just kept coming and going all day.Lots of shiney and unshiney stuff there. The one I thought was the coolest was a mid engined slant 6powered Dodge COE on a Dacota frame.Starting to see more and more early rods coming out and Tbuckets seem to be coming on strong, I wonder where they have been hiding for the last few years.I saw a pair of piecrust slicks that I was going to try and get cheap from one of the venders but Dave,ya the P.A.guy,beat me to them.He is going to put them on his Triumph???Is that even allowed in rodding,I guess its ok as its being built for the drag strip not the road course.I won a Harley chopper as a door prize it came in a little clear package and rode home on the passenger seat. Did I mention how hot it was, well it was hot enough that I figured that I had enough fun for one day and it was time to roll .Turned on the A/C unit(both windows open, vent windows crankedand the rear liftgate up)put new batteries in the high tec sterio riding on the passinger seat with my new bike, stuck the coathanger areal out the window and I was off.Another great day with a lot of good people. Ed

Ray,I am not sure that rednecks and bright frilly silkey neck scarves would go well together.I will ask Porkchop for fashon advice when he gets back from Alabama or Arkansaw or North or South where ever he is playing the banjo while on hollidays this year.He will probably bring something cool back to work on and we'll all be jelous.
