Well I decided I want to put disk brakes front and back and upgrade to power steering on my 56 nomad. But there is a lot of different makes and sizes out there.  Just want to get feed back from others that have done sim work on there ride

I used a set of frt. brackets from ECI on my 57. Talk to Ralph there and he'll set you straight.  I bought the rotors, calipers, pads, hoses, bearingsand  seals from NAPA.  I still have rear drums on the 57 but I'm looking at the 96/02 crown vic rear discs I used on my 29.  I think it's  real close to a good fit.  Power steering for the 57 is a 605 box coupled to the bottom end of the stock box used as a pillow bearing and lower mount. Standard GM pump and hoses.I have an article on the conversion if you want a copy.

I love power disc on the front  biggrin  Rears seem useless to me....(I have on my Corvette and they are a pia)     unless you autocross or drag race

I bought the bracket kit and bought all the rest for a 71 Nova. Then bought the shortened arms to go with the home made R&P system I built.
