I thought this was a GREAT show. The setting was super. Country Heritage Park - their mission - "to preserve the history of rural life and agriculture in Ontario and to show its evolution - past, present & future through public events and education programs. Lots to see for the whole family. Check their web site -- www.countryheritagepark.com As for the show, unfortunately the weather man saw fit to bring some morning showers which I am sure stopped a number of cars from showing up, but as Steve said, there were over 300 that did show. This was the first annual and I know the Ford Collectors Club learned a lot and it will be bigger and better next year. A must see for all the Blue Oval guys.

Well said John! I'll be there next year for sure and anyone else interested in going should mark down June 21st, 2014 as "Booked" on the calender. I'm sure more favorable weather would have brought more high end stuff and maybe a few more concours restorations too!

Thank you for the photos they were better than being there lol
You're quite welcome Carl! As far as "better than being there", No way! Just merely a suitable alternative - the best part about a great car show isn't shown on film. It's the camaraderie with the like minded individuals, talking cars, comparing builds, getting ideas for future builds etc....

I was talking to a couple guys tonite at the cruise nite that went and said it was awesome but your parking spot cost them 20 bucks each and they got their pictures taken=) your car looks great and I really like the T-bird wished I would have been smart enough to go to that one instead of getting as far as Markham road and having to turn around because of the heavy rain
I didn't realize it was $20 to park up there and snap a few pics! Nobody even asked me for any money, although there was a young lady with a nice Canon camera snapping pics right along with me. Ooops, my bad!
Hopefully next year won't have the threat of rain of this year's show and will draw some more quality cars to view. It's a great setting for a show and quite roomy! It should grow into a must attend event in the years to come!

Yeah i was there, had a great time too even if the weather was kinda crap. I usually don't hang around my car too long as i really want to look at everyone's rides plus i had my 12 year old son with me and he was all wound up to look at the cars and buildings. Can't wait till next years show. Great pictures by the way.

Finally got over 300 photos loaded to the "Mother Site"!!! Here's a few teasers and a link to enjoy the rest!:
This is my old truck, a '95 Bronco that I imported from Florida! As rust free as they come - I sure miss the ol' girl, she was a great work horse!
I was pretty sweet on this '70 Short Box:
John was there, we talked again - super nice guy!!!:
Comrick317 was there, didn't see anyone near the car though.:
Of course I was there too!:
A ton of original antiques represented near the nostalgic Ford Dealership building:
Sorry I missed ya. Glad you enjoyed the day in spite of the weather.
Look for event coverage in up coming "Old Autos" - I was asked to select a few of my photos to publish by the show's rep, John Challinor II, to go with his story about the day!

Sounds good! I wonder if they'd let a Mercury in the gate? It's got a Ford engine, transmission, axle, and suspension parts.
Nice job Fordy!!!

I just got an E-mail from one of the event organizers and the author of the 'Old Autos' article and while I haven't seen the issue yet he said all of the pics they used from the event are my own - now I can't wait to see the coverage from 'Heritage Park'! Where can I buy a copy without a subscription? Most variety stores don't have them....'Chapters' maybe? I might "Buy 5 copies for my Mother...." Lol!

That looks like an awesome spot for a car show !! I always like those Cougars. I remember we had one when I was a kid, but the darn think broke in two right at the firewall from rust. 67 and 68 were great looking, but they ruined it in 69 IMO.
I hear ya on the rusty Cougars 'Hemi', I looked at a few from around here way back when I was much younger (17or18?) and they were all rotton. Thankfully mine came from Texas! I don't mind the '69s, but the big "snaggle tooth" they added to the front of the hood in '70 was a bit much for me.

Not so much the hood, but it's that side body line that destroyed the look.
