I picked up a bit of a tobacco tin collection and am having a difficult time finding info/value on smaller Murrays and Latakia sealed/full tobacco tins??? Seal date on seal is 1938 and 1942.

Hey !! Us Mopar guys are the underdogs, and we can't be seen with Ford stickers on our stuff !!! Walter P and the Dodge Brothers rely on us to keep the Pentastar flag flying high.
Those blue and orange "CLUB" tobacco tins must have been a big seller in their day, as seems every old building, garage , driveshed , always had those tins full of rusty old spikes or rusty bolts.
What a cool collection. There seems to be a growing interest in tobacco related things.Must be the bad for you kind of thing.Kind of like hotrods.Let us know what you find out about your tins. Ed
So what have you found out about your collection. Is it a large market or more of an individual thing with you and your own interests.Did any of yours turn out to be really good scores. Ed

4 of them are worth approx. $100 per. (the Murray's and Latakia I had multiples of so have sold a couple, made some good $ and still have 2 of each of those left.
3 are about $40 range
the rest (the empty ones )are minimal.....about $7
I paid $20 for all of the tobacco tins so I'm happy.
Apparently, there are groups that collect but I don't think there is a large market per say. I just bought them as I had never seen sealed full tins that old.
Gotta remember Dan, if it weren't for Henry Ford hiring the Dodge brothers to cast axles an steering spiders for Model T's they may not have been around to build your ride! Play nice...

Those are unique tins,,you likely are best to search out collectors for the sealed tins. Myself I would have to open any tin from Syria,,might get lucky! We just opened a bathroom wall on my sons home and a bunch of 1950's cigarette packs, matches from long since demolished bars and billiard rooms and condom tins. Nothing of value but interesting the things that had fallen behind the wall before the home was completed. And a real old guy dropped by to see what we were up to and he filled us in on why there were so many large mirrors in the house.
