Not plated, but most likely will have normal plates. I still have the plates off my first car, in good shape. Gonna try to use themwhen the time comes.
Personallized on the Nova, Personal use only on my Chev 1/2 tonne and reg. plates on the harley. Didn't want Historical plates on the Nova...To restricting for me.
My 50 truck has truck plates , cause its a truck , my others all have regular plates the 87 t a has plates that say nasty girl . Its my wifes car honest even tho I wouldn't really say anything to anyone about it , historic plates are not for modified cars , . A friend of mine uses them cause they are only 17 bucks . but I also dislike seeing teen aged daughters ( kids ) driving around in cars that have veterans plates on them . there,s a girl who you can tell is still nervous new driver near us that is regularily seen in a diesel 4x 4 ford truck with vet plates on it . I,ve never seen an adult of any kind drive it . I see her maybe 10 times a week I bet . every thing I have is modded eggsept for the crv an jeep . .77.

Personal plates were a gift from the wife & kids and my daughter named my truck for me even before it hit the road.....Bullwinkle! Gotta love those retro cartoons!
personalized plates on the street rods and the daily driver, and i have a few on the wall not registered to vehicles but still in my name................had "FLAME IT" on a 48 Chev truck i sold a while back, but don't have flames on the new ride so it sits and waits......................
Regular plates on the Torpedo back as it's "MODIFIED" & Historic on the 64 Catalina as it's Basically stock other than the Cragar's!! Went to Cannington car show on Monday, Rat rods & highly Modified vehicles with Historic plates all over the place, this upsets me, as the intended use "MAY" get cancelled with all this abuse of the plate!!!!

I voted historical because you don't have a listing for using year of manufacture plates on them - meaning the plates are for the year 65 on my 65 merc, and new historical on my chevelle
Year of manufacture are classified as personal by the ministry. This is what I was told by the licence office. I had a set of 1940 I was going to use but was denied due to plate numbers coming up as registered to a motorcycle.

All of my cars have regular plates. All of my historic plates went over 15 years ago I don't think a lot of people realize the intent of historic plates, or what the term miss use of permit actually means. The insurance companies know especially if you file a claim after being involved in a mishap. In a nut shell well you did not have the correct validation tag and that is miss use of a permit according to the highway traffic act sorry about your luck. Is it really worth the cost difference in the end?
^^ Modfather: I really think most of the blame falls on the clerks of these privatized kiosks pushing the plates onto unsuspecting motorists that don't know the limitations. The clerk that wanted me to put them on my modified car was clearly put off that I didn't take her advice. I didn't because, while I don't know ALL the rules and can't re-sight any of them, I knew there were restrictions and repercussions for mis-use.

Went to the Uxbridge cruise in last thurs. night over 200 cars+ there!! heres an example of "MIS USE" of Historic plates!! Yes i do agree that the lic. offices are 'promoting these plates" & not asking the "right" questions but owners are sometimes going for the "screw you" attitude" I'll go for the $18 plate!!!! This one is NOT a "historic plate qualifier"

I would throw the book at him !! Putting a Chev in a Dodge should carry a maximum sentence !!
