 Big weekend comming up at the North Bay dragstrip the weekend of Aug 24th-25th for anyone travelling up this way.

Will be making the occaisional tours of the pits, with son and grandson checking cars out, then when they start firing, Definetly gotta be there at the lights to see them stage etc,.

Your going to love this show. The H U R A  was at STthomas for the 50th Aniversary last year.Great cars,fast and loud!

Shag, ----"FastChevy" is doing great, He is at the track consistently soon as it opens on fridays, Great guy, he has his Chevy 2 running very consistent, and his daughter also runs her Monza, plus his son also runs the 54 Gasser, PLUS his son in law runs his drag bike!!!
What you would call a REAL RACING family!!!

Gotta keep Larry hoppin each week just looking after the race cars. Lol

Think his Chevy2 is running 7.5's, in the eighth, which converted to a 1/4 is about an 11:70.

7.5's, poof, good for him. i know that little 2 surprised the heck out of me at the armdrop. he was out and gone. if it was an 1/8th i doubt i could of reeled him in. we had a little chat and i liked him. "old school rules"

Shag, his "Holeshots" should only get better, apparently he has now changed the rear end from 4:56 to a 5:13.
